The reason for the fan being noisy can be due to the air change is too high.
By reducing the fan speed it can reduce the sound coming from running the fan
If there are no insulation in the roof it also will cause you to hear the fan more than you would if you had insulation. Having insulation will also reduce the heat in your home.
MK2 System
To change the fan speeds
- click the right hand arrow
- scroll down to fan speeds
- click right arrow
- change the fan speed by clicking on the right arrow
- Exit menu by left arrow click.
MK1 System
Heating fan
- Hold Down
the override button (at the bottom of the Controller) until it displays “HEAT FAN
100”
- Then
quickly toggle the MIDDLE button to change the Fan Speed from 25% 50% 75% or
back to 100%.
Cooing fan
- Hold down the override button at the bottom
of the Controller until it displays “HEAT FAN 100”
- Then press Override Button
again once quickly, until “COOL FAN 100” is displayed.
- Then
quickly toggle the MIDDLE button to change the Fan Speed from 25% 50% 75%or
back to 100%.
We can also reposition your fan so its hung over your kitchen
rather than over a bedroom so you don't hear it as much when you are sleeping.
If you don't find that helps the issue you can
contact us and we can quote you on fitting an Acoustic Ducting on the
intake of the that fan that will muffle the sound a bit.
Just remember the Ventis is a mechanical fan and like a fridge it will make some sound when it runs.
